Tibetan Art Collection
An ongoing exhibition at The Newark Museum

Newark, NJ
Featuring an art collection brought from Eastern Tibet from 1911 to 1920 by American medical missionary Dr. Albert L. Shelton, as well as three other missionary collections from the same region gathered between 1928 and 1935. Also featuring rare historical photographs documenting traditional lifestyles of Tibet and its people in the first half of the twentieth century.
Admission and Information
